Swale's Senior mens team travelled to Lee Valley on May 2nd to start their League campaign. Another 9 athlete team for the club almost filled every event but came up against strong opposition and finished the day 5th.
Lewis Rayfield went away with the performance of the day as he put in one of his best finishes to hold onto 3rd place in the 400m. Lewis crossed the line in a PB of 56.73sec, knocking almost 2sec off his previous best!
Andrew Scoones took the teams only win of the day, taking the lead with 200m to go in the 800m Andrew crossed the line 1st in 2.09.60min.
James Butler started his attack in the Club Javelin Record, showing good early season technique James finished 5th with 32.76m
