This event is to be held on Saturday 3rd May 2025 at Cromers Sports Field, Sittingbourne, with entry and all parking via Tunstall CEP School. Swale Combined Athletics Club is very happy to be organising this event which promotes the benefits of Running and Athletics for all ages. All runners (9 & older) are entitled to 4 weeks free athletics training with the club.
Schedule
10:10. 1k Fun Run (school yr 4 and under)
10:40. 2k Inter-Primary School Run (school yrs 5 & 6)
11:20. 3k Schools Team Race (school yrs 7 & 8)
12:15. 30 minute Multi 1k Lap Challenge (school yr 9 & up plus adults)
2k & 3k School Team Races
Children can run in these races whether they are part of a school team (4 or more) or not and will still receive a medal.
Entry details
Save time on the day and click here for online registration and pay in advance by BACS or cash on the day. Alternatively you can complete a paper version of the Registration Form on the day and pay. Registration opens at 9.30am. The 1k is £5 entry, the 2k and 3k are £6 entry and the Multi-Lap Challenge is £7. Cash only please on the day. Runners affiliated to England Athletics with a URN are entitled to a £2 discount.
Achievement awards
All runners will receive a medal. In the 2k Run the top 3 school teams receive a trophy which can be kept by the schools and the winning team receive the perpetual shield which they keep for 1 year. There will also be a trophy for 1st girl and 1st boy and 1st visiting district team. For the 3k the top 3 school teams receive a trophy and there will also be a trophy for 1st girl and 1st boy.
Athletics Fun
Following the 2k there will be demonstrations and taster sessions for many of the Athletic disciplines that we provide as a club.
