Club Logo

Swale Combined AC are an expanding Club and need funding help to continue to deliver quality training sessions.

 

We've signed up to Easy Fundraising.org and have our current target set at £254 to purchase another set of 10 Plymetric Hurdles. these hurdles will be used part to replace some old hurdles but also to expand the Hurdles groups capacity.

 

Sign up, shop online and a percentage of your final bill is donated to us.

Training Inductions

 

New members, There will not be another summer training induction this season. We will begin winter training inductions in September, date to be confirmed.

 

This session is free and should be attended by anyone wishing to join the club.

SML Match 1 Team

Kent Young Athletes League

12 of our under 13s and under 15s travelled to Norman Park, Bromley for match 3 of the KYAL.

The team had 6 under 13 boys in the team, each performing fantasticaly to take the boys to 3rd on the day:

 

Reece Paine continued his track winning streak, as he's undfeated int he Kent League over 200m, this time winning in 29.0sec. Reece wen to on to set a personal best int eh Javelin with 23.03m for 2nd place

 

George Spalding cleard a personal best of 1.30m in the u13s High Jump, taking 1st place by a clear 15cm and moving him up the UK rankings in the event.

 

For the Girls it was Cameron Davison and Lexie Hammon that stood appart as they won the Hammer double. Cameron landed a personal best of 22.03m in the A event while Lexie landed a best of 14.32m to win the B

SWL + SML team members

14 athletes took to the track at Erith for match 3 of the SWL, every member of the team coming away with a PB, three of which were UK rankings.

 

Keeley Burdge and Bobbie Cornelius set the tone for the day, both winning their first events; Keeley int he 300m Hurdles with 58.5sec and Bobbie over the 400m Hurdles in 81.4sec

 

Titilola Williams put it all together in the Triple Jump to improve over half a meter to take 2nd place with 9.73m.

 

Alice English chopped 4sec off her 400m best as she crossed the line 2nd in 64.8sec.

 

Katie Masters, in her second Javelin competition, increased her best to 28.26m, narrowly missing our on the win.
