Southern Mens League


Swale's Senior Men finished their League season at Medway Park, Gillingham with a host of personal bests and a new Club Record.

Their efforts were enough to see them to 5th place in the Southern Mens League Division One East.

Andrew Scoones was on top form taking three personal best, plus a club record in the 800m with his time of 2.02.8min.

Marcus Jennings landed a long jump PB with 4.59m, taking him to 4th in the B event, while onthe track he timed 27.6sec int he 200m for his 3nd PB of the Day.

U15 boys 200m

KYAL Match 4

Swale saw 14 athletes compete at the final KYAL match of the season and our atheltes rose to the occasion, pulling out impressive PBs ont he track and field.

Erin Foot closed in on the 75m Club Record with her run of 11.3sec, a PB that moves her up the UK rankings list.

Kieran Friar took over the top spot for U15 sprinting at the club as he crossed the 100m finish line in 12.5sec for 2nd place and the Club Record.

Ira Devibar was just behind, pulling a massive PB to run his first sub 13sec with 12.9sec.

Alice English made sure the sprinters didn't steal the show as she raced the 800m. Stuck to the leaders all the way round, Alice chopped 6seconds off her PB and 5sec off the Club Record to run 2.36.9min.

Club Championships 2014

18 Swale athletes traveled to The Marlowe Academy at the weekend (06-09-14) and finished their track season with outstanding results.


Nearly 20 Personal Bests were recoreded at the match. James Judges (Pictured) scored two as he landed 3.07m inthe Long Jump and ran 2.06.9min in the 600m.


Marcus Jennings put his efforts in raining into proactice int eh sprints as he crossed the line in his first sub 13sec 100m with 12.8sec, while in the 200m he knocked of over a second to time 25.9sec


James English (U13) closed in on the 3m mark in the Long Jump with his best of 2.91m while Reece Williams (U15) cleard 4m for the first time with 4.01m.
